First, we must thank all the presenters for their effort in preparing talks, posters, and papers. Sharing of information is the main reason for IBIC, and this year again brought out a number of presentations of interest.
Second, a thank-you goes to those that worked behind the scenes: the Scientific Program Committee, the Editors, and the Local Organizers. All of the people involved worked hard to make sure the conference ran smoothly.
